Ann-Charlotte Johannesson received her Master of Science in Industrial Economy from Linköping University, in 1991. Since then, she has held key positions like Sales and Marketing Director and worked for companies such as WRAP International AB, Fujitsu Services, Holmen Paper, Telub Teknik, SAAB and IFS.

Elisabet Larsson, CTO


Elisabet Larsson received her M.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Linköping University of Technology, Sweden, in 1992. Before joining CEI-Europe in 2002, she was employed as validation engineer at the ICL Ltd. and Fujitsu, and later as project manager at Ericsson AB in Sweden. She has served as CEO of CEI-Europe from 2009 until 2017. Today she is the company´s CTO with focus on developing new technical courses.

Gunilla B. Jacobson, Scientific Program Manager

Dr. Gunilla Jacobson received her PhD in Organic Chemistry from Uppsala University in 1996. Since then she has worked in academia, industry, and startup environments in the US and Sweden, mainly in the pharmaceutical and semiconductor industry. Dr. Jacobson has extensive teaching experience and held several leading research positions, including Senior Research Associate at Stanford University and Senior Scientist at Karolinska Institutet. Her areas of expertise are nanotechnology, nanomedicine, and semiconductor technology.

Dr. Birgit E. Jacobson, Founder & Senior Adviser

Dr. Birgit E. Jacobson is the founder of CEI-Europe and a former associate professor in materials science at Stanford University. Over the years, Dr. Jacobson has received recognition as scientist and educationalist. In 2001, the University of Cambridge in England honored her with a By-Fellowship for outstanding contributions to international learning in advanced technology. Since 2003, she is also Honorary Doctor at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, awarded for outstanding achievements in the international field of scientific education. Dr. Jacobson stepped down as CEO in 2009, and is today an actively involved Senior Adviser to CEI-Europe.
