Ph.D., Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at
the New Jersey Institute of Technology, Newark, USA.
Dr Haimovich has served as a Director of the New Jersey Center for
Wireless Telecommunications, Newark, USA. He has 25 years of
experience in R&D related to radar and communications in
industry and academia. His research has been sponsored by the
National Science Foundation, US Air Force, Army, and Navy, and by
industry. His recent work has been on increasing capacity of
wireless networks through cooperation and relaying, geolocation,
and MIMO communications and radar. He has developed turbo schemes
for space-time codes and for MIMO systems, high resolution
techniques for localization, and peak to average power reduction
techniques for OFDM signals.
Dr. Haimovich has developed and has been teaching undergraduate
and graduate wireless communication courses at the New Jersey
Institute of Technology. He is a Senior Member of the IEEE, serves
as Associate Editor for the IEEE Communications Letters, and has
published over 130 papers in technical journals.
Dr Haimovich has been a member of the CEI-Europe Faculty since
