Specialist for 35 years in applications of digital signal
processing techniques in time and frequency domain to sonar, radar,
telecommunications, and acoustic well logging.
Professor Marple is author of the textbooks "Digital
Spectral Analysis", (Prentice Hall 1987) and "Digital
Spectral Analysis with Applications in C and Matlab", (to be
published), author and co-author of numerous signal processing
journal papers, and Fellow of the IEEE. Elected to Administrative
Committee of IEEE Signal Processing Society.
Professor Marple has been a member of the CEI-Europe faculty
since 1985.
