Mr. Charalampos (Charis) Stergiopoulos Roubas is a seasoned engineer. He is VP and co-founder of Future Intelligence Ltd, a telecom engineering company located in Greece and the United Kingdom which offers innovative products and services in the field of IoT for Smart Cities and Agriculture.
Charis also belongs to the scientific staff of the National Technical University of Athens (School of Naval & Marine Engineering) supporting lab courses related to IoT. He received his BSc in Electronics from the Technological Educational Institution of Athens and his MSc in Data Communication Systems from Brunel University - UK.
Mr. Stergiopoulos - Roubas is currently a PhD candidate at Brunel University - UK in the field of non-destructive testing and electric properties of materials via a three-year scholarship from the Greek State Foundations (IKY). He has participated in more than 35 National and EC-funded research projects having research, technical and managerial roles while presenting and publishing the results at international conferences and scientific journals.
Currently, Charis is the author or co-author of 30 original publications in scientific journals and conferences, numbering 204 non-self citations. His interests are: electric properties of materials and non-destructive testing, decision systems, new technologies in education, data communication systems and Internet-of-Things, innovative business models.
Mr. Stergiopoulos - Roubas has been a member of the Continuing Education Institute-Europe faculty since 2018.
