Continuing Education Institute Instructor Profile

Mr. Eiko Seidel is Chief Technical Officer and shareholder of Nomor Research GmbH. Before joining Nomor, Mr. Seidel was leading the mobile radio network research and standardization team at Panasonic R&D Centre.

Eiko has been working in mobile communication R&D for more than 20 years. Since 3GPP was founded in 1998, Eiko has been participating in 3G, 4G and 5G standardization. He has been involved in various corporate and EU funded R&D projects.

Mr. Seidel is the exclusive lecturer for 4G and 5G technologies at Continuing Education Institute-Europe and CCG Germany and is regularly invited as speaker at European industry conferences. Besides numerous contributions to 3GPP, he has published 20+ conference papers, submitted 100+ patent applications globally and contributed to various books.

Eiko works as an independent consultant, advisor, trainer and expert for several organizations. In addition to his in-depth knowledge of different 3GPP specifications and releases, his area of competence include future technologies like 5G, future small cell networks, LTE public safety, LTE V2V/V2X, D2D and MTC/IoT communication and LTE broadcast.
