Dr. Lange managed one of the most prolific innovation organizations within IBM.  The organization of approximately 50 engineers created roughly 30% of the patents for a 1500-person laboratory. He also invented and created the concepts that led to the creation of the “Common Platform” a unique multi-company consortium focused on bringing a coordinated high tech product platform to the industry. He brings experienced insight and knowledge to the strategies of IP creation and innovation management.  Having managed process technology, packaging groups, and business units and serving in executive roles worldwide, for several different companies, he also provides a unique multi-company perspective to the understanding of IP Strategies.
Dr. Lange, an experienced presenter and lecturer, is now principle and founder of a consulting firm, WLTC Advantage LLC.
Dr. Lange has a Ph. D. in Metallurgical Engineering.

 
Dr. Lange has been a member of the Continuing Education Institute-Europe Faculty since 2024.
